There’s something undeniably electric about a summer wedding in New York City—and Ali & Greg leaned all the way into it. We embraced the city chaos, which really helped shape their story and capture it as authentically as possible. NYC is a place unlike any other so whenever I am photographing weddings there, it is almost like the city is a part of the story itself. Busy sidewalks, taxis, street food vendors. It’s all in play photographically in my opinion.
Heading into Central Park for photos was a great contrast from the busy streets and allowed for things to quiet down a bit. That bit of quietness was a great opportunity for Ali & Greg to get some intimate portraits in the city away from the usual chaos. The light filtered through the trees, creating this contrast to the fast-paced rhythm just beyond the park’s edges. Their wedding day was Summer perfection in New York City.
